CARTERVILLE – John A. Logan College in Carterville will hold a Saturday Signup Day Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. College staff will be available to register students and assist with financial aid and other student services.

The college started doing Saturday Signup events two years ago to help students who work or have family commitments that cannot come during normal business hours.

New students can help expedite the event by visiting the College website at www.jalc.edu/saturday-signup-form/ and filling in some information before Saturday.

The college is also encouraging new students to go ahead and fill out the Application for Admissions and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Also if a student has a transcript from a college or university they previously attended, that will help, but is not necessary for Saturday.

Walk-ins are welcome, or students can pre-register for the Saturday Signup Event at www.jalc.edu/saturdaysignup.
