HERRIN – Three people are lodged in the Williamson County Jail after sheriff’s deputies shut down a drug house in Herrin late Wednesday morning.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Jenny R. Smith, Christopher J. Rhodes and Mindi A. Kincheloe were all arrested and cited for meth-related offenses and for possessing drug paraphernalia following a search at a home in the 1700 block of West Madison Street.
Authorities say the home and those arrested were the focus of an active extensive methamphetamine distribution operation.
During the course of the investigation, suspects sold meth several times to undercover deputies. Evidence gathered indicates the home was being used to traffic significant quantities of meth, with much of it destined for our area.
During a search of the home, deputies located meth, digital scales, packaging materials, packaging waste, cash, and other items commonly used in the packaging and delivery of illegal narcotics.
