WHITTINGTON – A semi hauling a trailer hit a concrete barrier around 4:45 Thursday morning on northbound I-57 near Whittington, according to Illinois State Police. 

The crash caused a large piece of debris to enter a southbound lane partially blocking it. 

No injuries were reported. No further information is available.
