HERRIN – Two men were cited for multiple drug and gun related offenses after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies shut down a drug house in the 1500 block of East Stotlar Street in Herrin around 9:30 Thursday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, a court authorized search warrant was executed because the home and its occupants were the focus of an extensive investigation into a county-wide crack cocaine distribution network.

Bruce E. Williams and Leon S. Johnson were both cited for Felony Criminal Drug Conspiracy, Felony Delivery of Controlled Substances, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Williams was also cited for Misdemeanor Possession of Ammo-FOID. Johnson was also cited for Felony Possession of Ammunition by a Felon and Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. They were lodged in the Williamson County Jail.

Deputies searched the home and located crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, packaging waste, cash, firearms, ammunition and other items commonly used in the packaging and delivery of illegal narcotics.
