Isbell Sentenced in July 2024 Attack on Couple at Carrier Mills Apartment

HARRISBURG – A Carrier Mills man was sentenced Friday to three years in prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Battery/Bodily Harm in Saline County Court.

According to Carrier Mills Police, 25-year-old Tyrese D. Isbell’s sentence stemmed from a July 2024 attack on a Carrier Mills couple while they slept in their apartment. In addition to the prison sentence, Isbell was ordered to pay a fine.

Police responded to the incident and worked feverishly to locate Isbell once it was determined he was the attacker. He was taken into custody at Dollar General in Elkville after police learned of his whereabouts.
