MARION – Illinois Extension is hosting the MyPI Teen Summit this summer.

My PI, which stands for My Preparedness Initiative, is a disaster preparedness training program for teens ages 14-18. The week-long camp will meet from June 3-7, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Williamson County Fire Protection Station #1 on East Main in Marion.

Youth will learn about Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety and Utility Control, Disaster Medical Operations, and Light Search and Rescue

The cost is $20, and space is limited.
