MT. VERNON – There will be a Community Recycling Event Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon.

Bring in your old tires and/or electronics. The limit is 12 items (tires or electronics) per vehicle.

You should use the south entrance to the plant on Woodlawn Drive.
