BENTON – Child Abuse Prevention Month is currently underway.

The Franklin-Williamson County Child Advocacy Center recently kicked off their annual Blue Kids Campaign.

According to Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon, for a $100 donation, the FWCAC will place Blue Kid signage outside of your home or business to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The Child Advocacy Center is a safe and child friendly facility that is used for forensic interviews when a child discloses sexual or severe physical abuse. Child advocacy staff assist in coordinating investigations within a multi-disciplinary team context with services to include forensic interviewing, case management, and criminal court advocacy.

The Franklin Williamson Child Advocacy Center is an invaluable partner of law enforcement and Bacon is happy to support them in any way possible.
