CARMI – An Enfield man was served by the White County Sheriff’s Office Sunday with a Failure to Appear warrant out of Hamilton County for Operate Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

According to the sheriff’s office, an officer served the warrant on 26-year-old Jacob S. Rowe of Enfield while Rowe was lodged in the White County Jail.

The officer provided Rowe with a copy of the warrant and told Rowe he believed it was a book and release warrant. The officer contacted the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. Dispatch told the officer it was a book and release warrant.
