HERRIN – 12th District Congressional candidate Darren Bailey will hold an event with Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz in Herrin next week.

It’s set for Friday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Herrin Civic Center, located at 101 S. 16th St. in Herrin.

Doors will open to the public at 5 p.m. with a special VIP event at 6 p.m. Bailey and Gaetz will speak at 7 p.m.

Bailey, a Republican, is running against incumbent Congressman Mike Bost in the March 19th Primary. If Bailey beats Bost in the primary, he will move on as the Republican nominee for the 12th District seat Bost now holds in the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
