MURPHYSBORO – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) announced Friday that his re-election campaign has been endorsed by Illinois Farm Bureau. Bost, who serves on the House Agriculture Committee, and IFB rolled out details of an eight-stop Farm Bureau tour this week to highlight the endorsement and visit with local farmers.

“Congressman Mike Bost has been a strong supporter of U.S. farmers and rural Americans in Washington,” said Ken Taake, Chairman of the 12th District ACTIVATOR Trustee Committee. “For that reason, the farmer trustees representing Illinois Farm Bureau ACTIVATOR are proud to announce the endorsement of Congressman Bost. Congressman Bost listens to the concerns of his district and addresses those concerns in our nation’s capital. He works hard to ensure that the needs of his constituents are met with a look to the future for the success of future generations. The 12th district would be well served by sending Mike back to Washington.”

“Our campaign continues to rack up powerful endorsements that reflect the absolute best of Southern Illinois,” said Bost. “I couldn’t be prouder to have the support of Illinois Farm Bureau because our farmers form the backbone of our rural economy. They love their country and know I’m the candidate in this race who will fight for them. For me it’s about serving the people, not about grasping for a job title. And that will never change.”
