MARION – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office had a busy night Wednesday night into Thursday.

According to the sheriff’s office, in addition to handling routine calls for service, deputies made 12 arrests including:

John C. Mira – Methamphetamine

Chelsea R. Phillips – Methamphetamine

Robert W. Hastings – Methamphetamine

Megan E. Colson – Warrant – Domestic Battery

Michael R. Colson – Warrant – Sex Offender Registration, Driving Suspended

April D. Herbert – Warrant – Driving Suspended/Revoked, No Valid Driver’s License

Joseph D. Streeter – Driving Suspended

Joshua A. Hall – Obstructing Identification, Drug Paraphernalia, Driving Suspended

Deputies also engaged in the pursuit of a stolen vehicle which was initially located by the Marion Police Department.

Deputies continued in pursuit of the stolen vehicle south on Interstate 57, then eastbound on Interstate 24, and into the State of Kentucky.

The pursuit ended in Paducah and resulted in the arrest of four suspects who are currently being held in the McCracken County Jail on the following charges (Illinois charges pending):

Possession Controlled Substance – 3rd Degree

Alicia M. Scott     

Possession Controlled Substance – 1st Degree – Meth

Possession Drug Paraphernalia

Dylan M. Russell     

Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree Motor Vehicle

Fleeing or Evading Police on Foot- 1st Degree

Receiving Stolen Property $10k+

Wanton Endangerment Police Officer

Charles Parrish     

Public Intoxication Controlled Substance (Excluding Alcohol)

Further details concerning the pursuit of the stolen vehicle will be released at a later date.  The suspect(s) are persons of interest in multiple stolen vehicle cases throughout Southern Illinois. This remains an ongoing investigation.
