MARION – The Goodall Building in Marion is the recipient of a 2023 Landmarks Illinois Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award for Rehabilitation.

Jeff Mayer of Marion rehabilitated the historic former hotel building on Tower Square. It’s home to Granny Puckett’s Cupcakes, The Foundation Room and apartments.

The project serves as a catalyst for investment and development in Marion’s downtown area.
