DIX – Illinois 37 was closed Tuesday afternoon from Dix-Irvington Road to the Marion County line due to a traffic crash.

The sheriff’s office announced the closure around 4:15 p.m. The highway remained closed until 7:45 p.m. as first responders worked the scene.
