CARBONDALE – IDOT says there will be a road closure starting Monday on westbound Illinois 13/Main Street at the Canadian National railroad crossing just east of northbound US 51/Illinois Avenue in Carbondale.

Beginning Monday at 8 a.m., the Canadian National Railway will begin repairs on the railroad crossing. Work should be completed by Friday at 6 p.m.

No traffic will be allowed through the crossing during repairs.

You should use the marked detour to avoid the work area.
